Welcome back to “Carlos’s Adventure.” In this second episode, you’ll listen to clear, natural conversations designed for A1 learners. After progressing through the early lessons of the course, you’re ready to hear Spanish in everyday situations: arriving to class, organizing a study session, ordering at a cafeteria, and meeting at the library.

This episode features two natural Spanish conversations for beginners between our main character Carlos and his friends:


Conversation 1: Carlos and Amanda

Arriving on time, study materials (notebook, workbook, markers), describing the classroom with there is/are + numbers and colors, organizing the day’s study, and planning a time to meet the next day.


Conversation 2: Carlos and Mariana

Ordering at a cafeteria (unsweetened tea, coffee with milk), agreeing on a time and place to study at the library, describing a backpack and study items, and choosing the best spot to read (near the window).


Learning Objectives

By listening to this podcast episode, you will:

  • Practice listening comprehension with two beginner-friendly conversations

  • Hear A1 vocabulary used in real, everyday contexts (classroom, cafeteria, library, daily plans)

  • Get comfortable with time phrases and making plans (“at five,” “tomorrow at nine”)
